Aker Solutions has secured a sizable, long-term frame agreement with Azule Energy to provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for brownfield projects and modifications for two FPSOs in Angola.
The frame agreement is a continuation of the current frame agreement Aker Solutions has with Azule Energy, Aker Solutions said in a June 6 press release. The agreement is valued at between NOK0.5 billion to NOK1.5 billion (US$47.3 to US$142.1 million).
The work comprises EPC of the brownfield maintenance and modifications scopes. The contract has a duration of 3 years, plus two 1-year options. The scope of work is focused on two FPSOs: the Greater Plutonio and PSVM.
Aker Solutions’ team in Luanda, Angola and Aberdeen, U.K., will execute and deliver the contract.
Azule Energy is Angola’s largest independent equity oil and gas producer and is a joint venture owned by Italy’s Eni and BP.
