Allis-Chalmers Energy Inc., Houston, (Amex: ALY) has acquired Petro Rentals Inc., Broussard, La., for approximately $29.8 million in cash, including approximately $9.5 million in assumed debt and the issuance of 246,761 Allis-Chalmers shares. Petro Rentals provides a variety of quality rental tools and equipment and services both onshore and offshore Louisiana and Texas, including wire line services and equipment, land and offshore pumping services and coiled tubing support equipment.
