Atlas Energy Solutions has appointed Chris Scholla as its new COO, effective Aug. 5.
Scholla, who currently serves as chief supply chain officer, joined Atlas in 2017, serving first as vice president of supply chain and logistics before being promoted in 2022. As chief supply chain officer, he was responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations and customer support.
In 2019, Scholla led Atlas’ entry into the oilfield logistics market and overseen its strategic logistics growth initiatives.
“With his [Scholla’s] leadership, our organization has made great strides in enhancing profitability and operational efficiency,” said John Turner, president and CEO of Atlas. “ His innovative spirit and commitment to advancing Atlas’s mission and strategy make him the right person to serve as our Chief Operating Officer.”
