Ultima Energy Trust, Calgary, will acquire two oil-producing properties and associated facilities in central Alberta, with an average working interest of 93%, for C$35 million cash. Current production from the properties is approximately 1,400 BOE per day, consisting of 1,375 bbl. of oil and 150,000 cu. ft. of gas. They contain a total of 3.5 million BOE of proved reserves. Ketch Energy Ltd., Calgary, has divested assets that produce approximately 1,000 BOE per day and contain proven reserves totaling 1.8 million BOE for C$21.8 million. The company's production is now comprised of 53 million cu. ft. of gas and 4,300 bbl. of liquids per day. BelAir Energy Corp., Calgary, will acquire Tikal Resources Corp. for 0.4 BelAir share per Tikal. The deal is worth US$13.5 million. BelAir will have production of approximately 3,300 BOE per day comprised of 15.9 million cu. ft. of gas and 650 bbl. of liquids. Third-quarter production averaged 2,505 BOE per day. Griffiths McBurney & Partners advised Tikal. 942235 Alberta Ltd., owned by the city of Medicine Hat, Alberta, plans to buy Allied Oil and Gas Corp. for C$2.65 per share, cash. Raymond James Ltd. is dealer-manager. Crescent Point Energy Ltd., Calgary, acquired a private Alberta company for C$9 million. The assets include an operated, 68% working interest, in long-life 30-degree API oil reserves, with current production of 370 bbl. of oil per day. Proved reserves total 1.13 million BOE and established reserves total 1.35 million BOE. Crescent's daily production has grown 300 BOE to total 575. Lexxor Energy Inc., Calgary, has acquired producing properties in the Ingoldsby area of southeast Saskatchewan for C$5.2 million. Current production from the properties is approximately 212 bbl. of oil per day. Virtus Energy Ltd., Calgary, has acquired producing properties in central Alberta and southwest Saskatchewan for C$3.75 million. The properties in central Alberta will be 100% owned and operated by Virtus, and produce about 150 bbl. of oil per day. The southwest Saskatchewan property is nonoperated and produces about 25 bbl. of oil per day. The properties have proven reserves of 364,000 bbl. of oil and 108 million cu. ft. of gas. Established reserves are 463,000 bbl. of oil and 216 million cu. ft. of gas. Del Roca Energy Ltd., Calgary, has acquired oil-producing properties in the Drayton Valley area of Saskatchewan for C$2.5 million. The assets include various operated and nonoperated working interests in a Pembina unit and other Cardium-zone wells producing 115 bbl. of oil per day, net, and will add approximately 371,000 BOE of proven producing reserves, net. Tiverton Petroleums Ltd., Calgary, has sold various properties, producing 50 BOE per day, for C$1.2 million. Pacific Amber Resources Ltd., Vancouver, has purchased nonoperated working interests in four properties in Alberta and Saskatchewan for C$875,000 cash. Proved reserves of the interests are estimated to total 55,300 bbl. of liquids and 344.9 million cu. ft. of gas. Daily production is 31 bbl. of liquids and 135,000 cu. ft. of gas. Sunrise Energy Ltd., Calgary, will acquire certain properties in the Medicine Hat, Alberta, area from Patria Resources Ltd., Calgary, for C$248,000 in cash.
