Privately held Salvo Energy Corp., Calgary, has acquired Expedition Energy Inc., Calgary, (Toronto: XPD) for approximately C$12.75 million in cash and debt assumption. Expedition focuses on E&P in Western Canada. As of Dec. 31, 2006, the company's proved plus probable reserves were 1.36 million barrels of oil equivalent.
