Former Securities Analyst and Crestwood Midstream Partners Executive Josh Wannarka has joined upstream A&D and advisory firms EnergyNet and Indigo Energy Advisors as COO and CFO of the combined companies, the firms reported June 17.
Most recently, Wannarka was senior vice president of finance for Crestwood, which Energy Transfer bought in November in a $7.1 billion deal that included $3.7 billion of Energy Transfer units and $3.3 billion of debt assumption.
He began his career as an energy investment banking analyst with JP Morgan and RBC Capital Markets and worked in investor relations roles for Quantum Resources Management and Crimson Exploration.
Chris Atherton, EnergyNet CEO, said, "We are thrilled to welcome Josh to the EnergyNet and Indigo Energy Advisors team. His extensive experience and proven track record in the energy sector make him a valuable addition …. We are confident that Josh's leadership will drive our financial and operational strategies, positioning us for continued growth and success."
Wannarka said EnergyNet and Indigo are “uniquely positioned to execute its long-term growth strategy as the leading tech-enabled [A&D] marketplace. Together, we will continue to build on the company’s strong foundation and capitalize on the opportunities ahead in the dynamic energy industry.’”
Wannarka received his bachelor’s in economics and business administration from Fordham University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
