geoLOGIC systems ltd. has released geoSCOUT 7.0, a comprehensive update to its oil and gas decision support system. geoLOGIC drew on extensive industry and user input to ensure the revamped geoSCOUT would help customers to be more effective by setting new standards for ease of use, improved workflow and file management.

A new Project Manager helps users create, open and preview all projects from one location. They can also work on multiple projects at the same time and view all available data and version updates.
Another new feature, the Layer Manager, helps save time and simplifies daily workflow. Among other things, it makes navigation between projects more simple and allows for improved display options, unlimited layers and improved display options. File management is simple, the same Windows tree-style approach used in daily computing. Enhanced Cross Section capabilities mean users can create ideal cross sections while loading and examining an unlimited number of Raster or LAS logs.
