
Dan Furbee is joining Amplify Energy as COO and senior vice president.
Amplify Energy Corp. announced on March 20 that Dan Furbee has joined the company as senior vice president and COO.
Furbee brings experience from various leadership and engineering roles to Amplify, previously serving as a partner at Sentinel Petroleum and executive vice president and COO of Riviera Resources Inc., according to a company press release. He was an engineer at Linn Energy LLC for a number of years before becoming Linn Energy Inc.’s vice president of asset and business development in 2018. He later consulted as an independent advisor for various companies in 2021.
Furbee holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Houston.
Amplify is an independent oil and natural gas company with operations in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, the Rockies and offshore California.
