The company's #1 Greffe-Bount Community well produced 47 bbl. of oil with 45 bbl. of water per day and extends the field 0.8-mile southwest. The 2,000-ft. well, scheduled to Silurian, is Section 29-14n-2w about four miles southeast of Edinburg, Ill. 6 Myron L. Ross, Hot Springs, Ark., staked a wildcat about 0.75-mile east of Alma in Marion County, Ill. The operator plans to drill the #1-A Dwain Ford in Section 8-3n-3e to Devonian Geneva at 3,999 ft. Brubaker, which was discovered 30 years ago, produces from Geneva, Mississippian Spar Mountain, McClosky, St. Louis and Salem. The field has produced 676,000 bbl. of oil and currently makes about 10 bbl. per day from a single active well. Alma Field has produced 128,000 bbl. of oil from Cypress, Benoist, Aux Vases, Spar Mountain, McClosky and St. Louis but was abandoned in 1996. 7 Ramah Oil Co. LLC, Mount Gilead, Ohio, completed a wildcat discovery for 5,000 cu. ft. of gas a day from Trenton in Wyandot County, Ohio.
