Enerplus Corp. has appointed Ward Polzin to its board of directors, according to a May 23 press release.
Polzin is the founder and executive chairman at Camino Natural Resources and a venture partner of private equity firm NGP Energy. He brings over three decades of experience in the energy industry to Enerplus.
"[Polzin’s] experience leading companies and his deep understanding of the E&P industry will add valuable perspectives to our board and management team as we continue to deliver on our commitments to our shareholders," said Ian C. Dundas, president and CEO of Enerplus.
In addition to his work at Camino Natural Resources and NGP Energy, Polzin has served as the CEO of Centennial Resource Development, as well as a managing director and founding partner in investment banking at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co.
Enerplus is an oil and gas E&P company based in North America.
