Deputy general manager Fu Chengyu has been appointed the interim head. Michael Meservy has been appointed president of F10 Oil & Gas Properties Inc., Willis, Texas. Brenda F. Mawhinney has been appointed vice president, finance, and chief financial officer of Delphi Energy Corp., Calgary. John A. Schmit has been appointed to the board of Gasco Energy Inc., Denver. Schmit was vice president, investments, RENN Capital Group Inc. Michael R. McElwrath has been appointed chief executive officer and president of Far East Energy Corp., Houston. Mary P. Ricciardello has been appointed to the board of Noble Corp., Sugar Land, Texas. Ricciardello was senior vice president and chief accounting officer of Reliant Energy Inc. from 1999-2002. David Collins has been appointed vice president and chief financial officer of Petrosearch Corp., Houston. Collins was chief financial officer of the Kazi Management Group of Cos. Tim R. Lindsey has been appointed vice president, exploration, The Houston Exploration Co., Houston, a new position. Lindsey was international exploration manager for Marathon Oil. James B. Smith has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer of Tidelands Oil & Gas Corp., San Antonio. Randall D. Keys has been appointed chief financial officer of Transmeridian Exploration Inc., Houston. Keys was a financial consultant for Transmeridian. Mark E. Monroe has been appointed to the board of Unit Corp., Tulsa, Okla. Monroe was president, chief executive officer and a director of Louis Dreyfus Natural Gas Corp. and is a director of Continental Resources Inc. Matt A. Eagleston has been appointed president of Wiser Oil Co., Dallas. Eagleston was vice president, production. Eric Newell plans to retire as chairman and chief executive officer of Syncrude Canada Ltd. Charles Ruigrok, currently with Imperial Oil Resources, has been appointed to succeed Newell. Norman Gish has been appointed to the board of Provident Energy Trust, Calgary. He is a director of Superior Plus Inc., Noranda Inc. and other companies. Also, Andrew Gruszecki was appointed vice president, NGL services, and Gary Kline was appointed vice president, commercial development and risk management. Maroot Mrigadat has been appointed president and a member of the board of PTT Exploration & Production PCL, Bangkok. Maroot is currently senior vice president, business development. Maroot succeeds Chitrapongse Kwangsukstith, who will return to the company's parent, PTT PCL, as a senior executive vice president.
