EV Energy Partners LP, Houston, (Nasdaq: EVEP) plans to acquire gas properties in West Virginia from an institutional partnership managed by Houston-based EnerVest Ltd. for $59.5 million. The assets include an 80% average working interest in 543 wells in Barbour, Harrison and Lewis counties and EV Energy will operate 94% of the property. Net production is 4.3 million cubic feet of gas equivalent per day. Proved reserves are approximately 28 billion cubic feet equivalent (99.5% gas, 99% proved developed producing).
