Jordan Soto, Hart Energy staff: We are celebrating Hart Energy's 50th anniversary and Hall of Fame event. It's a momentous occasion for Hart Energy and the energy industry abroad. We have Kelcy Warren, the executive chairman for Energy Transfer, with us today. Thank you so much for being here.
Kelcy Warren, executive chairman, Energy Transfer: Thank you. It's a big honor. I mean, this came out of the blue. I didn't see this coming at all, and so I'm thrilled to be here. And I look at the other people that are going into this with you guys, and I'm saying, wow, I'm even included in that group. It's pretty amazing. So I'm just excited to hear what you guys have to say and to just be part of it.
JS: So what's an enduring legacy of some of the honorees and hall of famers? Anybody in particular that you think, wow, that person really made an impact and a dent in the energy industry?
KW: Yeah, I don't think you guys chose anybody that didn't. I really don't. I mean, I'm looking around at these little name tags and I know all of them, and they are all really important people on telling the story of energy. So I think you did a great job.
JS: Well, thank you so much and we're glad to have you a part of that list as well. One last question for you before we hop on into our fireside chat. What energy industry advice do you have for young people and hart Energy readers?
KW: Yeah, I would say don't believe any of this nonsense that we're transitioning out of energy. We're not. That can’t happen, it's impossible, but we are never going to run from the rhetoric. So I would say for young people, don't buy off on that. You're too smart.
JS: Thank you so much for your time, Kelcy. Enjoy the rest of your evening.
KW: Thank you. It was a pleasure.
JS: This is Hart Energy LIVE with our 50th anniversary and Hall of Fame event at the A.D. Players Theater in Houston.
