Hanover Compressor Co., Houston, (NYSE: HC) and Universal Compression Holdings Inc., Houston, (NYSE: UCO) completed their merger of equals, creating Exterran Holdings Inc. (NYSE: EXH) with equity capitalization of approximately $3.8 billion. Hanover and Univeral provided full-service gas-compression and service, fabrication and equipment for oil and gas production in the U.S. and abroad, as well as processing and transportation applications.
