EuroGas Inc., Vienna, Austria, has acquired a 58.5% interest in Medusa Oil & Gas, a subsidiary of Ramco Energy Plc and committed to a $12-million exploration program on Medusa's concessions in the Polish Carpathians during 2002. Tyumen Oil Co., Moscow, and Itera have agreed to establish a joint venture based on the assets of the gas-producing company Rospan, which is in bankruptcy. Itera will have a 56% interest and Tyumen Oil, 44%. Equatorial Energy Inc., Calgary, did not close the sale of its Indonesian assets as previously announced.
