Irwin Energy Inc., Vancouver, (Pink Sheets: IWNE) has completed its previously announced acquisition of Phoenix-based Big Cat Exploration & Production Inc. for 20 million shares of Irwin stock. Big Cat is in the process of acquiring a working interest in the Carterville Field in Webster Parish, La. The company also has assets in Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona and Australia. Big Cat maintains an equipment yard in Oil City, La., and plans to open an office in Brisbane, Australia, this spring. Irwin Energy also consolidated its shares 1 for 100. Following the share consolidation, Irwin Energy has 20.5 million shares outstanding.
