Jed Oil Inc., Didsbury, Alberta, (Amex: JDO) plans to sell its North Ferrier assets in Alberta to an undisclosed arms-length third party for approximately C$33.9 million in cash. The assets include 1,600 undeveloped acres. Production is approximately 760 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The proceeds of the sale will be used to fund Jed's acquisition of Caribou Resources Corp., Calgary (Toronto Venture: CBU).
