Geoffrey C. Ketcham plans to retire as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Energen Corp., Birmingham, Ala., (NYSE: EGN) at the end of the year. Charles W. Porter will assume the role of vice president, CFO and treasurer beginning Jan. 1, 2007. He is currently vice president of finance for Energen Resources Corp., Energen's acquisition and development subsidiary.
