Kinetik and WaterBridge Resources joined the 17 other companies in the Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP), a press release announced on Sept. 15.
The PSP is a now 19-member alliance dedicated to contributing to community-led investments, having already transformed $106 million in member contributions into $950 million in investments.
Through the additions of Kinetik and WaterBridge, the partnership will continue improving the quality of education, workforce development, healthcare and road safety across operations in the Permian Basin
“These companies bring tremendous talent and passion for the Permian Basin to the table. They are joining the PSP at a time when we have seen transformational initiatives in our three short years," PSP president and CEO Tracee Bentley commented in the release.
"We continue to look forward to maintaining our momentum and making lasting impacts across the Permian Basin together,” she added.
Before the two new additions, PSP members included: Apache Resources Corp., BPX Energy, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Colgate Energy, Coterra Energy, Devon Energy, Diamondback Energy, Endeavor Resources, EOG Resources, Halliburton Co., Occidental Petroleum, Ovintiv, Pioneer Natural Resources, Plains All American, Schlumberger and XTO Energy.
“PSP’s mission of improving the quality of life for Permian Basin residents directly aligns with WaterBridge’s commitment to enhancing the communities in which we operate," WaterBridge co-CEO and COO Jason Long said. "We look forward to collectively building on the already impressive list of PSP’s accomplishments going forward.”
“We believe it is our responsibility to invest in the Permian Basin communities in which we work and live," Kinetik COO Matt Wall added. "Joining PSP is the most effective way for our Company to put this belief into action.”
