Linn Energy LLC, Houston, (Nasdaq: LINE) has named Joseph P. McCoy to its board. McCoy was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Burlington Resources and is chairman of the audit committee for Rancher Energy Corp., Denver (OTCBB: RNCH).
