Privately held LLog Exploration Co. LLC, Covington, Louisiana, plans to sell properties in the Gulf of Mexico shelf to an undisclosed buyer for $170 million in cash. The properties are primarily in the Vermilion area. Proved reserves are 35.8 billion cubic feet equivalent (70% oil). The deal is valued at approximately $4.75 per proved thousand cubic feet equivalent.
