Gex is in the Anadarko Basin about nine miles northwest of Higgins, Texas, in Lipscomb County (RRC Dist. 10). It is producing through frac ports at 8,101, 8,336, 8,573, and 8,872 ft. in a Cleveland lateral drilled northeasterly to 9,226 ft. Production tests were conducted on a 21/64-in. choke. BP’s American headquarters are in Houston.
6 The #3-28 Conley, a Range Production Co. well in Section 28-16n-9w, southwestern Kingfisher County, Okla., initially flowed 1.76 million cu. ft. of gas, 50 bbl. of condensate and 198 bbl. of water daily through an 8/64-in. choke with 2,834 psi flowing tubing pressure. Drilled in heavily explored Altona Field, the 10,892-ft. exploratory test was perforated and fracture-stimulated in four formations: Mississippi solid, 9,240-9,814 ft.; Hunton, 9,897-10,254 ft.; Viola, 10,398-10,510 ft.; and Simpson at 10,854-58 ft. Range is based in Fort Worth.
