New Fortress Energy Inc. (NFE) has appointed Andrew Dete, managing director, to the role of president, the company announced Oct. 24.
Dete joins the senior management team, which consists of Chairman and CEO Wes Edens, General Counsel Cameron MacDougall and CFO Chris Guinta.
“Andrew has been fundamental to NFE’s commercial growth and development over the past few years, and we are proud to formally appoint Andrew to the role of President as we see him as an integral part of NFE’s future,” Edens said in the press release.
The company’s announcement did not say when the appointment becomes effective.
New Fortress owns and operates natural gas and LNG infrastructure in Jamaica Puerto Rico, Mexico and Miami, Florida. It has an integrated fleet of ships and logistics assets to deliver fuels globally, the company said.
