New Jersey-based HYLAN, an infrastructure design and construction company, launched a gas and pipeline division, the company announced in a press release March 5.

HYLAN’s gas and pipeline division will offer services such as maintenance, construction, horizontal drilling and hydrostatic testing for operations across the Lower 48, the company said.

HYLAN, which began as an electric company in 1960, operates construction in sectors such as telecommunication, utilities and electric vehicle charging infrastructure in 10 U.S. states.

“HYLAN has long been recognized as a leader in turnkey communications solutions and electrical infrastructure design and construction, serving the wireline, wireless, and smart city sectors across the US,” said HYLAN CEO Robert DiLeo in the press release. “By expanding our capabilities to include gas and pipeline services across the US, we are further strengthening our role as a premier infrastructure provider.”
