Newfield Exploration Co., Houston, (NYSE: NFX) plans to sell two properties in the Midcontinent to two undisclosed private buyers for $56 million combined. The properties are in Hemphill, Wheeler and Gray counties, Texas, and Dewey and Custer counties, Oklahoma. The assets include a working interest in 120 active wells in the Buffalo Wallow, Hoover and Putnam fields. Net daily production is 5 million cubic feet equivalent per day on approximately 13,550 net acres.
