Nova Compression has purchased a package of natural gas compression assets from Kodiak Gas Services, expanding its operations in the Delaware Basin in West Texas, the company said Dec. 5.
“The new assets will expand our presence in West Texas while further growing our flexible range of horsepower we offer customers,” Nova CEO Jonathan Mitchell said. The compressions packages are in the Pecos area of West Texas.
After closing the Kodiak purchase, Nova will have more than 330,000 hp in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.
Crestline Investors provided financing for the deal. Other financial details were not disclosed.
