Oil States International Inc., Houston, (NYSE: OIS) plans to acquire substantially all of the assets of Houston-based Schooner Petroleum Services Inc. for $61 million in cash and a $6-million seller's note in a total deal valued at US$67 million. Schooner provides completion-related rental tools and services in Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming and Arkansas.
