Patterson-UTI reported an average of 107 drilling rigs operating in the U.S. for the month of August.
The report, released Sept. 9, also said that during the two-month period that ended Aug. 31, Patterson-UTI had an average of 108 drilling rigs operating in the U.S.
The drilling rigs reported operating in Patterson-UTI’s monthly announcement represent the average number of drilling rigs that were earning revenue under a drilling contract in the U.S.
