James R. Clark has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Baker Hughes Inc., Houston (NYSE: BHI). He was vice president, marketing and technology. Previously, he was president of Baker Petrolite. Prior to joining the company, he was president and chief executive officer of Consolidated Equipment Cos. Inc. and held positions with Sperry-Sun, FMC Corp., Schlumberger and Grace Energy Corp.
Dalton L. Thomas has been appointed vice president, operations support, of Cooper Cameron Corp., Houston (NYSE: CAM). Thomas was previously with the Cameron division.
Charles Fabrikant has been appointed to the board of Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc., Houston (NYSE: DO). Fabrikant is chairman, chief executive officer and president of Seacor Smit Inc.
Dale J. Hohm has resigned as vice president and chief financial officer of Enerflex Systems Ltd., Calgary (Toronto: EFX).
Thierry Desmaris has been appointed vice president and treasurer of Foster Wheeler Ltd. Desmaris was vice president, finance.
Brian K. Ferraioli has been appointed acting chief financial officer. He was vice president and controller.
Stephen M. Pazuk and Margaret K. Dorman have been elected to the board of Hanover Compression Co., Houston (NYSE: HC).
Pazuk is on the boards of several privately held companies. Dorman is senior vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer of Smith International Inc.
Thomas C. Schievelbein has been appointed to the board of McDermott International Inc., New Orleans (NYSE: MDR). Schievelbein is president of Northrop Grumman-Newport News.
William C. (Kurt) Hoffman has been named vice president, marketing, of Noble Drilling Services Inc., a subsidiary of Noble Corp., Sugar Land, Texas (NYSE: NE). Hoffman was vice president, Western hemisphere operations.
Randall D. Stilley has been appointed chief executive officer and president of Seitel Inc., Houston (OTC BB: SEIEQ). Stilley was a consultant to oil and gas industry investors.
Thierry Pilenko has been appointed chairman and chief executive officer of Veritas DGC Inc., Houston (NYSE: VTS). Pilenko was managing director of SchlumbergerSema.
