Petróleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) has signed a 15-year purchase and sale agreement with the U.K.’s global natural gas supplier Centrica.
Petrobras will purchase 0.8 million tons per annum of LNG starting in 2027, which will be supplied from Centrica’s portfolio, which includes the Sabine Pass and Delfin LNG liquefaction plants.
The contract remains subject to a final investment decision on Delfin LNG, currently under development by Delfin Midstream.
