ProPetro Holding Corp. appointed Exxon Mobil designee Alex Volkov to its board of directors, effective May 8.
Volkov, who holds global energy expertise, is currently the transition executive tasked with planning the integration of Pioneer Natural Resources and Exxon.
“We extend a warm welcome to Alex who is bringing with him a wealth of experience from Exxon Mobil,” said ProPetro CEO Sam Sledge. “His proven leadership and industry acumen will be invaluable as we continue to execute on our strategy and deliver value to all our stakeholders.”
Additionally, Mark Berg, who has served as a director on ProPetro’s board since February 2019 and was previously appointed as Pioneer's designee, will remain on the board as an independent director.
