Santos, Adelaide, Australia, (Nasdaq: STOSY; Australia: STO) plans to acquire Australia-based Delhi Petroleum Pty Ltd. for AU$474 million, which includes buying all of the equity in the Delhi Group of Cos. The acquisition will increase Santos' interest in the Cooper Basin in Australia from approximately 63% to 85% and add approximately 67 million barrels of oil equivalent of proven-plus-probable reserves.
