The British multinational oil and gas company Shell announced its dividend equivalent in British pounds and euros on Dec. 11.
Holders of ordinary Shell shares are entitled to €0.3070 or £26.31 per ordinary share, according to a Dec. 11 newsrelease. On Nov. 2, Shell announced the dividend in U.S. dollars at $0.331 per ordinary share. Shell shareholders are able to elect one of the three currencies in which to receive their dividend.
Persons holding ordinary shares through Euroclear Nederland will receive dividends in euros while persons holding shares through the Shell Corporate Nominee will receive dividends in pounds sterling
