Emerson Process Management has launched the Roxar subsea chemical injection valve, a compact and robust retrievable solution providing control over the injection of hydrate inhibitors in oil and gas operations.
The valve features:
• Robustness – The valve has no moving parts except when adjusting flow rates, resulting in a longer life cycle and increasing reliability in operations. It can be retrieved by an ROV without requiring special tools and stays in position and continues to provide a constant injection rate;
• Accuracy – The valve provides a wide adjustable flow range and generates continuous and accurate measurements of injection rates, regardless of operating conditions and changes in pressure; and
• Flexibility, compactness – The valve is lightweight, has low power consumption, and uses standard communication protocols that can help reduce weight on subsea structures. The injection valve also can be integrated with other measurement solutions to increase system performance.
