Talisman Energy Inc., Calgary, (Toronto, NYSE: TLM) has sold its noncore Canadian assets to undisclosed buyers for C$815 million. The assets are predominantly low working interest, nonoperated assets in the Greater Lloydminster, Central Alberta, Pembina/Brazeau, Wapiti/North Deep Basin and Cranberry/Chinchaga areas of Alberta. Net production is 16,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (65% gas). Proved reserves are approximately 38 million barrels equivalent.
