TC Energy Corp. appointed two new independent directors to its board, the company announced Nov. 7 in a press release.
Scott Bonham and Dawn Madahbee Leach have extensive leadership experience and will advise TC Energy as it works to realize its long-term vision, said John Lowe, chair of TC Energy's board of directors, in the announcement.
Bonham brings with him experience in governance, finance and leadership in the technology sector and has served on the boards of multiple private and public companies. He is currently on the board of Loblaw Cos. Ltd. and the Bank of Nova Scotia and co-founded venture capital firm GGV Capital.
Leach has experience working in indigenous relations and business strategy and is currently the general manager of indigenous financial institution Waubetek Business Corp. She is also the chairperson of the Indigenous Economic Development Board.
