Vantage Drilling International Ltd. has appointed Williams L. Thomson as the company’s COO, effective Jan. 1, 2025, according to a Dec. 31 press release.
Thomson is currently Vantage’s chief commercial officer and CTO and has served the company since 2008, holding roles in project engineering, technical support, marketing and managed services, Vantage said in its release.
Vantage specializes in offshore drilling and primarily contracts drilling units, related equipment and work crews to drill oil and natural gas wells globally for E&Ps.
