A subsidiary of Vermilion Energy Trust, Calgary, (Toronto: VET.UN) has acquired Esso Rep from Esso SAF, a French subsidiary of ExxonMobil Corp., Irvine, Calif. (NYSE: XOM). Esso Rep assets are in France and are adjacent and complementary to Vermilion's existing assets in the country. Production averages approximately 3,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day, and Vermilion has identified opportunities to create additional value on the property through workovers, recompletions and development drilling.
