Vantage Data Centers has tapped VoltaGrid for 1 gigawatt of power generation capacity across its North American hyperscale data center portfolio, Vantage announced Feb. 11.
VoltaGrid’s power solution can be quickly deployed and installed within months. The energy management and generation company’s emissions control technologies simplify the permitting process for quick project approvals, Vantage said in the press release.
The collaboration will deliver energy in markets with constrained grid power, Vantage said.
“VoltaGrid’s expertise in deploying scalable and reliable power systems aligns perfectly with Vantage’s mission to deliver world-class data center infrastructure,” said VoltaGrid President and CEO Nathan Ough. “Our ability to rapidly deploy scalable energy solutions will redefine industry expectations and provide AI hyperscalers with the means and confidence to continue to scale their operations.”
