WaveForm Energy Ltd., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: WE.A, WE.B) has purchased producing gas properties in the Ferrier and Rowley areas of Alberta from a privately owned partnership for C$18.5 million cash through a senior secured debt facility. Following the acquisition, Waveform will have working interests in proved plus probable reserves of 4.94 billion cubic feet of gas and 208,000 barrels of gas liquids for a total of more than 1 million barrels of oil equivalent. Wavefront also gains current net production of approximately 325 barrels of oil equivalent per day from three wells and undeveloped lands including three drilling areas in producing zones.
