W&T Offshore, Inc. announced on May 1 that the company has welcomed Nancy Chang to its board of directors as an independent director.
Chang will also join the company’s audit committee, nominating and corporate governance committee, and chair the environmental, safety and governance committee.
“We are very pleased to welcome Nancy to our Board of Directors,” said Tracy W. Krohn, board chair and CEO of W&T. “She is a widely respected and internationally recognized scientist as well as a highly successful senior executive in both the private and public sectors.”
W&T is an oil and gas producer that has interests in more than 45 offshore fields. It is currently leasing approximately 625,000 gross acres off the coasts of Louisiana, Texas, Alabama and Mississippi. Before joining the W&T board, Chang served on the board at Ansun Biopharma, Inc. She founded and served on the board of Apex Capital and was the president of the Tang Family Foundation.
