Yellowtail—Exxon Mobil’s fourth, and largest, project in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana—is expected to add a capacity of about 250,000 bbl/d of oil.

The claim comes a week after Houston-based Murphy Oil said Exxon Mobil’s Cutthroat prospect in the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin offshore Brazil could have as much as 1 billion barrels of oil and gas.
Exxon Mobil kicked off drilling activity on the so-called Cutthroat-1 prospect offshore of Brazil on Feb. 20 and should conclude in the coming weeks, Murphy Oil CEO Roger Jenkins said in a presentation to investors.
