Secure: "Infrastructure of this magnitude takes years to install and significant access to capital. Brazos has underwritten its investment by securing long-term acreage dedications with Permian-focused producers, all of which are moving to full-scale development. We will continue to expand our platform ahead of their development plans."
Career path: Iles began his career as a process engineer at Principal Technology Inc. in Dallas from July 2001 to April 2004. From April 2004 to November 2014, he held several positions with Crosstex Energy Inc., now EnLink Midstream, including most recently as senior vice president of business development. He co-founded Brazos Midstream in March 2015.
"Brazos started with four founding partners who wanted to create a 'story' together, compete in the midstream space and build a successful company for our investors and employees. Our management team brings a variety of experiences to our decision-making process, from upstream to midstream business development to project management. We feel this combination of expertise across the energy industry is something that not many other midstream companies can provide to their producer customers. It differentiates us in a highly competitive environment," he said.
"We are two and a half years into writing the Brazos story, and I am proud of what we have accomplished thus far," Iles added.
