Career path: He began his career as an A&D analyst for Chesapeake Energy Corp. in August 2002 and subsequently joined Cimarex Energy Co. as a landman in June 2005. In January 2008, he became Midcontinent region land manager, followed by an appointment to Midcontinent region manager in April 2012, a role he held until joining FourPoint Energy in May 2014.
