James David Herd started his career right on the heels of graduation from Baylor University at the Midland Reporter-Telegram in Midland, TX. After serving on the copy desk for a year, he would move eastward to Austin, TX to join the Wire Team at Gatehouse Media's Center for News and Design, and eventually, the Gannett Design Center. He'd stick around there from 2016 to 2022, when he received an offer to join the team at GAMURS Group as a Staff Writer, where he'd serve for a year, until most recently accepting a position here at Hart Energy as an Associate Editor. He is thrilled to join the team!
