Equal Energy Ltd. - 2011-04-26

Entered an agreement with a syndicate of underwriters led by Scotia Capital Inc. pursuant to which the underwriters have agreed to purchase, on a bought deal basis, 6.85 million common shares at a price of $7.35 per common share, for gross proceeds of some $50.4 million. Net proceeds will be used to fund the acquisition of certain oil and gas interests in the Hunton play in Oklahoma.
