Closed its registered direct offering in which it sold approximately 34.9 million shares of common stock at $0.5025 per share for anticipated aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $17.5 million.

As of March 15, Far East Energy had received some $16.5 million of said proceeds with the final $1 million anticipated to be received by March 16.
