Closed its newest energy-focused private equity fund with billions earmarked for oil and gas development. The firm's Kayne Private Energy Income Fund LP had its final close with total capital commitments of $1.55 billion. The firm's strategy is to partner with a select group of high-quality management teams to acquire and develop large, long-life producing oil and gas assets in North America.
