The company will sell shares for between $19 and $21 in an initial public offering expected to raise about $188.2 million.

LRR, formed in April this year from assets held by investment firm Lime Rock Resources, said in a prospectus filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission on Thursday that it plans to sell 9,408,000 shares in the IPO.
