Closed Ridgewood Energy Oil and Gas Fund II LP, its latest private equity fund. Proceeds will be used to invest in E&P oil projects in the U.S. deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The fund surpassed its originally target of $750 million and was sourced from 39 institutional investors. Eaton Partners LLC was placement agent. Vinson & Elkins LLP was fund counsel.
